Gien service, Rouen Sainfoin model, stamped limited edition 693/1500 under the tureen of the same service.

This design is part of the great earthenware tradition of the Gien factory, founded in 1821. Inspired by the famous 18th-century Rouen designs, the Rouen Sainfoin model revisits classic floral and scroll motifs in a rich and refined interpretation.

Produced in a limited edition, this service showcases Gien's historic expertise, renowned for the quality of its enamels and the finesse of its decoration. A distinctive tableware, both heritage-oriented and decorative, ideal for an elegant table setting or for adding to a collection.

Very good overall condition, vintage item, retains traces of age and manufacture ( (Presence of slight crazing of the enamel, common on antique pieces, without affecting its durability.)

This model is no longer manufactured by Gien. A set of 4 plates is sold new on the Gien pottery website starting at €200.
