Vegetable dish Villeroy & Boch "Trèfle -Klee" model, blue, 1890-1900

Rare antique Villeroy & Boch tureen / vegetable dish, Klee pattern, produced in Wallerfangen around 1900. Its delicate vegetal clover motif, printed in bluish green on a cream background, reflects the manufacturer's expertise at the end of the 19th century, in a style anticipating Art Nouveau.

Complete with its lid, this beautiful earthenware piece will find its place equally well on a characterful table or in a French Country, Cottagecore, or country house decor.

Good overall condition for an object over 100 years old. This antique piece shows natural crazing of the enamel as well as some traces of time, witnesses to its history (1 small internal chip, 2 cracks, yellowing of the enamel in some places, see photographs).
