Octagonal Malachite Solitaire Game, 1950/70

Beautiful antique solitaire game in natural malachite, octagonal in shape, composed of a board made of finely assembled malachite plates and marbles also in polished malachite.

The stone displays superb deep green veins characteristic of natural malachite.

Diameter: 25.5 cm - Height: 1.5 cm

Period: mid-20th century (circa 1950–1970)

High-quality decorative work, probably of Russian/European inspiration or origin.

The tray rests on felt pads.

Complete set, in very good overall condition, with slight signs of wear consistent with age. (One marble has a small chip, see photos)
