Large ceramic table lamp signed L. Drimmer – 1950s/60s

A glazed ceramic lamp signed L. Drimmer, a French ceramist active in the second half of the 20th century. This piece features a hand-painted exotic decoration depicting a Polynesian female figure surrounded by tropical foliage and pineapples, typical of the craze for exoticism in the 1950s and 1960s.

Its crackled enamel in warm tones and its generous shape give it a very decorative mid-century charm.
