Large original advertising poster published for TAI (Transports Aériens Intercontinentaux), dedicated to the company's African destinations.
Its iconic illustration depicts a young woman dressed in traditional costume. A true testament to the golden age of air travel, this poster illustrates the rise of long-haul travel in the early 1960s.
Printed in France by Braun Mulhouse. Made on thick matte paper, characteristic of advertising posters of this period, it will appeal to collectors as well as lovers of vintage decoration and aviation history.
Its large format makes it an ideal decorative piece in a living room, office, hotel, travel agency or an interior inspired by Mid-Century design.
Dimensions:
Height: 98 cm
Width: 62 cm
Condition B:
Good overall condition for an old poster.
It shows traces of time compatible with its age: some storage folds, pinholes at the corners, as well as a tear at the bottom and some marks on the edge (see photographs).
These defects do not alter the visual quality of the illustration and testify to its period use.
Please consult the photographs carefully, as they are an integral part of the description.
Each poster is carefully protected and packaged to ensure secure transport. Frame not included
