The buyer = the customer


Beyond-the-dust.fr is the property of Mélanie JAYTENER in its entirety, as well as all the rights relating thereto. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, is systematically subject to the authorization of the owner.


The customer acknowledges having read, at the time of placing the order, the special conditions of sale set out on this screen and expressly declares to accept them without reservation.

These T&Cs govern the contractual relationship between Beyond The Dust (Mélanie JAYTENER) and her client, both parties accepting them without reservation.

These T&Cs will prevail over any other condition appearing in any other document, unless prior, express and written derogation.


The products sold by the site are identified by one or more photos, a descriptive text and a price including tax in euros. These photographs do not enter into the contractual field. If errors are introduced, in no case, the responsibility of Beyond The Dust can not be engaged.

Products purchased following a visit to the workshop and of which the customer was able to see the condition before purchase, cannot be the subject of a request for reimbursement or discount for any defect that the customer considers to have seen after purchase.

The furniture and objects offered are old, so they have traces of time, scratches and defects due to their age. In addition, they no longer correspond to the safety standards currently in force in France and abroad. It is therefore up to the buyers of these objects to ensure that they are used properly.


The price is expressed in euros. The price indicated in the order confirmation is the final price, expressed all taxes included without VAT (article 293B of the tax code) for France and EEC countries. VAT not applicable, art. 293B of the CGI

Payment is made via bank transfer or by credit card at the workshop in a secure manner.

The seller reserves the right to refuse an order from a customer with whom a payment dispute has taken place or is in progress.


The sale will not be concluded until payment of the order.

The information given by the buyer, when taking the order, commits him: in the event of an error in the wording of the recipient's contact details, the seller cannot be held responsible for the impossibility in which it could be to deliver the product.


DELIVERY: Beyond The Dust ships after receipt of payment:

1- By post Colissimo or Mondial relay for small products.

2-By its own care large item in areas around Metz and Brussels for the prices mentioned here

3- By carrier for bulky parts that are to be shipped beyond the areas mentioned above.

Beyond The Dust subcontracts this service and reserves the right to choose the carrier.

Delivery is made at the foot of the building and the carrier cannot take back the delivered goods, So be sure to check the dimensions of your stairwells and access doors before ordering.

4- You can also choose to pick up your product at the Atelier located in Lessy – France (57160) or in St Gilles – Belgium (1060) by appointment. Contact us!

After order confirmation, Beyond The Dust undertakes to ship all the references ordered by the buyer, within 1 to 3 weeks for delivery via carrier or 7 working days for items delivered by Colissimo - Mondial relay - point relay (excluding leave). Delivery times are always given as an indication. Exceeding them cannot justify the cancellation of your order without prior agreement from us. The Buyer is delivered to his home or to a pick-up point.

In the case of a delivery by colissimo and in the event of absence, the Buyer or the recipient of the ordered product receives a transit advice note from La Poste, which allows him to withdraw the ordered products, at the nearest post office. nearby, for a period of fifteen days. If the customer does not collect his package at the post office within 15 days and it comes back to Beyond The Dust, a contribution to the postage for reshipment will be requested (if the product arrives in good condition) and it will not be possible to cancel the order and request any refund. If within 45 days of sending the product, the customer does not show up, Beyond The Dust reserves the right to put the item back on sale.

The Buyer is required to check, in the presence of the delivery person, the condition of the packaging of the goods and its contents on delivery. In the event that the Buyer has any doubt of any kind whatsoever about the condition or the contents of his package, he is required to apply the following procedure (in particular to report the damage observed, all complaints and reservations) and to refuse the goods by immediately issuing a statement of anomaly to the carrier. Please report these incidents to the Seller within 48 hours by attaching a duplicate of the anomaly report (with photos) made with the carrier.


If the buyer is responsible for picking up the furniture himself in the workshops, he is required to check the condition of the furniture before purchase. Once the purchase has been made and the furniture has left the Beyond The dust workshops, no complaints or rejections can be made.


In the event of delivery of a product that does not correspond to the order (defective or non-compliant), the Buyer must make his complaint within 48 hours from the date of receipt of the package. Complaints must be sent by email to hello@beyond-the-dust.fr

They must include:

  • Buyer's contact details
  • Product references
  • the reasons for the complaint (and photos if necessary)

The return of products must be made within seven working days. Failing this, Beyond The Dust will not refund the products thus ordered. Any product to be exchanged or refunded must be returned to Beyond The Dust as shipped, in its original condition and packaging and include all of the product and its accessories.

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the Buyer, except in the case where the returned or exchanged product does not correspond to the original declaration made by Beyond The Dust. Coverage of these return costs will be capped at the rate corresponding to the shipment. Any risk related to the return of the product is the responsibility of the Buyer. In the absence of non-compliance with the procedure set out above and the deadlines indicated, the Buyer may not make any claim for non-compliance or apparent defect of the products delivered, the products then being deemed to be compliant and free from any apparent defect.


In case of unavailability of the product ordered, Beyond The Dust will inform the Buyer as soon as possible. The Buyer will be reimbursed without delay and at the latest within thirty days of payment of the sums he has paid.


The Buyer has a period of 48 hours from the date of receipt of the order to make a complaint if the product does not correspond to the order (defective or non-compliant). The Buyer has fourteen days from the date of receipt of the items to return the products ordered for reimbursement. If the error comes from Beyond The Dust, the cost of returning the item(s) will be borne by Beyond The Dust. If it is a return because the Buyer no longer wants this item, the return will be at his expense. The products must imperatively be returned in perfect condition for resale, in their original condition (packaging, accessories, instructions for use and documentation), duly sealed.

Any product that is incomplete, damaged, damaged or whose original packaging has been damaged, will not be refunded or exchanged. The Buyer is advised to use a carrier offering tracking and insurance of the returned goods. In the event that it is lost or damaged in transport, Beyond The Dust will not be able to reimburse the Buyer who will have to file a claim directly with the carrier.

In the event of exercise of the right of withdrawal, only the price of the product(s) purchased will be refunded. Shipping and return costs are the responsibility of the Buyer.


Beyond The Dust cannot be held liable for damages of any kind, whether material, immaterial or bodily, which may result from a malfunction or misuse of the products marketed.

The responsibility of Beyond The Dust will, in any event, be limited to the amount of the order and cannot be blamed for simple errors or omissions which may have remained despite all the precautions taken in the presentation of the products.

Complaints or disputes will always be received with attentive benevolence, good faith being always presumed in those who take the trouble to explain their situations. In the event of a dispute, the customer will contact Beyond The Dust to obtain an amicable solution.


In any case, Beyond The Dust cannot be held responsible for non-compliance with the regulations and laws in force in the receiving country.

Beyond The Dust's liability is systematically limited to the value of the product in question, value on its date of sale, and this, without the possibility of recourse to Beyond The Dust or the company producing the product.


The information of personal information collected for the purposes of distance selling is mandatory, this information being essential for the processing and delivery of orders. The lack of information leads to the non-validation of the order.

In accordance with the law "Informatique et Libertés", the processing of personal information relating to customers has been declared to the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL). The customer has (article 34 of the law of January 6, 1978) a right to access, modify, rectify and delete data concerning him, which he can exercise with Beyond The Dust.

In addition, Beyond The Dust undertakes not to communicate, free of charge or with compensation, the contact details of its customers to a third party.


Beyond The Dust retains full ownership of the products sold until full payment of the principal price, including costs.

During the period from delivery to transfer of ownership, the risk of loss, theft or destruction is the responsibility of the Buyer. Failure by the Buyer to fulfill its payment obligations gives the Seller the right to demand the immediate return of the goods delivered at the expense and risk of the Buyer.
